What she wishes other Deaf children could receive

This video is not simply a reflection of a Museum or of LEGO.
It is the emotional autobiography of a Deaf woman discovering herself in a new world of possibilities—and comparing it to the world she comes from, which has deprived her of opportunities, recognition, and cultural equality. She chose to carry this new knowledge back across borders to transform the lives of Deaf children for generations to come.
Under the surface, Alison is expressing four significant emotional landscapes:
- A longing for a world she never had, and finally glimpses in Europe
- A deep emotional wound around exclusion, difference, and childhood loneliness
- A desire to become the adult that she needed when she was young
- The tension between her past and the world she discovered in Europe
