Alternate Reality Games, combined with AI-GPT and other AI tools, give us a new generation of Games

The rapid and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI), including generative
AI, has large-scale implications for education and training. The potential of generative
AI practices in the coming years to transform essential cognitive practices is already
tangible, and directly affects education and training systems.
Since November 2022, it will have escaped no one that the acceleration in the
availability of generative AI, over and above the AI already tested with intelligent tutors
or adaptive learning and personalised pathway exercises, has not only caused an
increased adoption but also given rise to a rethink of how to think dynamically about
the integration of AI in education.

The “AI as assistant” model leads to cognitive atrophy and dependency; the co-author approach fosters critical judgment, verification, and expanded creativity

Transparency in human-AI collaboration is an ethical requirement: documenting decisions and exposing the process strengthens critical capacity

The fundamental problem: “Assistant” positions humans as managers delegating tasks. “Co-author” positions humans as conductors orchestrating intelligence. Only the latter builds capacity, maintains criticality, and generates genuinely novel results

Generative intelligence focuses on orchestrating collaboration between humans and intelligent systems, multiplying capabilities instead of replacing them

Intelligence is symphonic, not singular – combining multiple AI systems exposes biases and produces richer, more reliable results

RE’s design, branding, and pedagogy embody its philosophy – to teach how to conduct generative intelligences, not merely use tools

“The Weiss-Krenzisky Chronicles”

A thrilling adventure centered around an art heist and the A thrilling adventure centered around an art heist and the ongoing story of the Weiss-Krenzisky collection

We teach you how to create a training program on the ilegal traffic of pieces of Art and transform it into a GAME for Mobile education, playing on your phone and in real life.

We name this ARGAI, whose objective is to design games to generate critical thinking; we need to address and discuss raising awareness on critical societal and political issues.

The Game is not created for the sake of playing a Game. The importance of ARGAI is to generate a training program on the subject of the Game. We have designed a specific GAME based on the illegal trafficking of art.

  • Understanding the Art Market and Criminal Networks
  • Overview of the global art market and its dynamics
  • Insight into the workings of criminal networks involved in art theft
  • Discussion of the motivations behind art theft and illicit trade

The innovation relates to the transmedia concept; we have designed a specific website, podcasts, characters and training program. On top, a Game platform is created to play the Game. It is in the platform where the learning is happening, so the goal of the Game is not to find the stolen art piece but to understand the whole legal process and the role of each person involved in recuperating. It focuses on the complexity of international cooperation, the values, and hidden plots of billions of euros of business despite the existing EU and international regulations.

We teach you how to create and analyse news and fake news on all kinds of media. Extract the central core of the information linked to emotions and needs, and transform it into an activity to raise awareness on lack of policies, coordination and political issues.

The URBAN ECHOES project aims to promote civic engagement and participation among 100 young people at the consortium level. By participating in project-based learning training programs, the young people will map disaster areas, document emotions and memories, and create content for educational games, documentaries, podcasts, and virtual museums. This engagement will strengthen community ties and instills a sense of social-emotional responsibility.
Natural disasters significantly impact society, affecting communities emotionally, socially, and economically, especially the younger generation. With its comprehensive and innovative approach, the URBAN ECHOES project can bring long-term benefits. It helps to address these challenges by providing innovative educational methods and platforms that encourage youth participation. It offers solutions to build resilience and hope in emotionally affected communities. The project aims to empower young people, foster innovation in education, promote collaboration, and positively impact communities affected by earthquakes, fires, and floods.

“Strozzi Medici and the theree Wise Men. The figures of the Magi”

The figures of the Magi appear late in the Judeo-Christian tradition. They are first mentioned in the Gospel of St. Matthew as scholars from the East who come to Bethlehem to venerate the Child Jesus with gold, frankincense and myrrh. But they were not yet spoken of as kings or rulers of any country, but as “magi”, which in Persian means priests and astrologers.
